Hey guys so the past 4-5 days I've noticed my plant leaves have gotten brown a lot faster than usual and has spread to q lot of leaves. Growth is kind of slower. I'm told I should use botanicare cal/mag to fix this problem. Do you guys think it will help? The only other fertilizer I used was the potting soil I mixed with dirt from my garden.image.jpg

The plant is around two weeks old.

Cal/mg issues are almost always a symptom of a bigger problem. I would say keep investigating.
Here are some photos, I also thought it might have been another problem but I don't really know what. It's not ligtburn as I use 4 10 watt led lights that produce very little heat.

so you are using no ferts at all? Just potting soil and water?
Yea, this is my first grow so I'm just learning the ropes as I go. I didn't think I would need any additional nutrients this early on so I decided to wait it. Only these past 4-5 days have I been noticing the brown spread everywhere. I just bought a quart of botanicare cal/mag on Amazon.

Here's my setup. I have 3 lamps, each lamp has a 10 watt led that provides 2700 lumens each and the overhang one is a 15 watt led light. It doesn't seem like much but for a beginner grower it's all I can afford.

could be root bound. Thats an easy check.

Your right in that you dont need nuts right away, veg plants dont need much. It all depends on what kind of soil you used though.
