Cal-Mag

I just bought cal-mag plus which has calcium, magnesium, and nitrates. But the nutrient I use right now (floranova) also has all those. do i really need to add extra calcium and magnesium.

I really can't find much information on cal-mag but i've heard good things about it. When is the best time to use it and should I use it in normal feeding?

Most people just use it when using distilled water, due to its lack of minerals.

what i did mate is i use canna nutes what have all the goodies i need (same as your floranova) but then one day got a mag deficiency amd brought some cal/mag comes in a big ass bottle anf only needed 40ml. so now i just throw 10ml or 20 ml with my feed every top up. im not a pro but just saying it works for me

what kind of problems did you have before using the cal/mag?

Correct. I started noticing slight issues with my little ladies after many feedings of RO water. Picked some CaMg+ and so far things are looking on the up and up.

Calmag is a good thing to have around Just In Case, as the most common deficiencies that people growing MJ encounter are magnesium and calcium, and it's pretty cheap as supplements go. Whether or not you need it depends on whether you run into one of those deficiencies. Depending on the strain, stock nutes may not supply sufficient magnesium or calcium, particularly during flower -- but I've seen strains that needed it in veg, too (run side-by-side with a different strain that was happy as could be with the stock nutes. Eventually they both the magcal supplement -- it didn't hurt the less-needy plant, and it was easier just to mix up one batch of nutes.)

You don't need a whole lot, either. If your strain does need more calmag, I suggest starting at 1 ml/Gal and then upping it another ml in a three or four days if the plants still look like they need it.

Cal-Mag is a very common deficiency I use it every time I nute.. I definitely recommend everyone have a bottle of Cal-Mag and use it in their regimen!

Used cal mag for the 1st time this grow and what a difference it has made my girls love it and grow 3 times faster than before just wish i'd used it earlier

Not at all. Alot of my stuff is mixed into the soil, but I'm fond of fish fert and liquid karma

MAG DEF.... use 2 tablespoons epsom salt per gallon of water......take a glass of warm water... add the epsom mix until dissolved...add to the gallon of water
