Cal-mag is this ish man. I just picked a sample bottle up from my local shop and saw awesome results by the next morning!!!!

I need a cheap calcium foliar solution, what can anyone recommend?

I don't see the need to spend $30 for a jug of something that would last a week. Thats $120/month for something you can get with $2 epsom salt and $2 crushed eggshells.

Thing is I don't feel like crushing eggshells. I'm looking for something Cheap and Effective. I keep seeing info everywhere about foliar feeding with dolomite lime yet I see the same amount of conflicting info saying it isn't water soluble. Enlighten me.

epsom salt foliar feed with it and you'll be just fine. and Im not an lime expert but I don't think you can foliar feed with it. Are you sure its calcium? can you post any pics? holy shit i gotta quit posting and get a life lol

No pics right now but yeah I'm sure it's calcium. Actually it's calcium and magnesium but the epsom has got the latter under control.

There should be plenty of calcium in my tap so I suspect lockout on the calcium and magnesium. Water has been 6.1 - 6.4 (soil).

I need to get my water ph up but when I add (dry) ph up the ppm's shoot through the ROOF! I get scared to water with it.

I need to raise ph with raising ppm too much. I do take ppm reading right after I add ph up maybe I should wait and see if the ppms go back down after an hour.

I've never done a foliar with dolomite lime. Just doesn't make sense to me, since it needs to react with the soil. I have heard of a liquid lime derived from dolomite, but no experience with it.

Dolomite Lime=Crushed Dolomitic Limestone (Rock), pretty much why it isn't water soluble.

It is the second ingredient in my mix. Peat moss being the first.
