Calcium deficiency?

2014-06-05 12.19.51.jpg2014-06-05 12.18.57-1.jpg

Been growing these two lovely strains of Flying Dutchman power skunk for around 2 months now with no issues what so ever. ( yes there is 2 packed in that tiny tent)

They have been fed using the full guanokalong range, powder, grow, bloom and taste improver and were put into a gold label light substrate soil mix and as you can see they have flourished and look quite lush.

However over the last couple of weeks this has been showing up on some old fan leaves and I am wondering if anyone has encountered this before, if anyone could give me some info that would be great. The rest of the plant looks fine and buds are forming nicely, so should I just leave it?

temps are good never above 28c midway up the canopy and humidity is on par for flowering at around 40-50%

Peace out

: A boron deficiency in cannabis is relatively rare, and is usually accompanied by other types of nutrient or pH problems.

The first signs of a cannabis boron deficiency is abnormal or thick growth tips along with brown spotting on new leaves.

With a boron deficiency, upper cannabis leaves display abnormal and/or slowed growth. Growing tips may not grow properly, may display twisted growth, and may die off. New leaves may wrinkle or curl.

Plant roots can also be affected by a boron deficiency, showing unhealthy or slow growth. Stems may become rough or hollow.

A plant with a boron deficiency may look like it has a calcium deficiency because boron is needed for the plant to properly use calcium. New growth is affected the most, and may look like it's been burnt or scorched.

A boron deficiency is often accompanied by an apparent potassium or nitrogendeficiency, as these nutrients are needed for the plant to use boron. Boron deficiencies are more likely to appear when a plant is underwatered or experiencing very low humidity (very dry air).

I wouldn't worry about it too much. Your top growth looks great and it is pretty normal for low interior fan leaves to go to shit during mid to late flowering.

Thanks for your replies everyone! 2014-06-11 19.39.31.jpg

I've checked through the deficiency symptoms pages but nothing matches my situation, I'm just going to ride it out and see what happens.

Been removing some of the old affected fan leaves as it maybe be passing on this "blight"? But again I'm no expert and am going off my tomato growing experience and googled information.

Btw I really recommend Guanokalong for organic first time grows!
