I think we might have gotten a new law this year. Something that says the burden of proof is on the cops now. They have to prove that's where the money came from.

He was the IL governer and when Obama got elected to president it left his seat empty in the Senate and that seat needed filled. The governer is supposed to appoint someone to finish Obama's senate term, but instead he was trying to auction it to the higest bidder for perks for him and his wife.

How is capping salaries on people who are already being paid too much a bad thing? It's saving the taxpayers money. Capping salaries isn't what you do if you are helping people line their pockets.
