So I had a weird feeling that I am being watched at moment because of some dumbass business partner's that I use to fuck with, one of my expartner's is going through a divorce with a physco wife. And I know when one of the parents is trying to gain custody they can pull up old phone calls/text/emails and etc..

My first mistake was having partner's.

Second was not using a burner.

Third was not saving up money.

But I can't change the past, well today I downloaded an app called spycallalert well the first fucking call I made set the damn alarm off..

Now what?

Phones are the worst bro they no everything see everything and store everything. Phones and illegal games don't mix. Always meet in person to talk business. Cell phones and smart devices are quick to get you arreseted.

Yoir being watched because of Your ex business partner? Did the wife or whatever no what business yall were in together on. If so rent some were were you have nothing at all including drugs guns etc. The past is the past only thing is not keep your ops low and no one's knows if so you need to.pack up and move out before something shitty happens to you
also a lot of them apps suck and don't truly work. Clean yourself up and hold your nose up. That bitch fucks with you yell her fuck off. Besides a phone tap can not be held in court unless there has been a warrant issued allowing the phone tap

best advice on here IMO. Clean your shit up for a while. Lay low. That is if your not just being paranoid.

I looked at some reviews of this app. Didn't find anything negative but came away with the feeling that each "review" had the fingerprints of the maker's PR team. It seemed to me that this app is really more adept at helping the owner spy than detecting listeners. Maybe you are being listened in on, and maybe you aren't but if it were me, I would ignore the app in making a decision on what to do.

The app is probably bullshit. Try it on a clean line and see what happens or set up a fake deal over the phone and see if anyone follows you. Make a fake exchange in a parking lot or somewhere it would be easy for cops to hide. Then when they jump out all they find is a duffle bag full of doughnuts.

I have serious doubts that an app could detect an electronic tap anyway. I'm not a programmer, but having a better than passing amount of knowledge about how wire tapping happens, I'm going to agree with UB on this one.

Paranoia can keep us safe as long as we temper it with common sense situation awareness. Be realistic with yourself about the likelihood that you would get drug into something between this dude and his soon to be ex. If he's in your rear view mirror, you most likely have a decent amount of insulation between you and him.

Local courts and LEO aren't going to be able to dig too deep into his circle because of warrant restrictions and unless you're a ball'er, the feds aren't interested.

At least this issue has made you aware of the things you've been slippin' on. Consider this a shot across your bow and tie up those loose ends you mentioned in the OP. Try not to worry You'll most likely be ok.

Yeah I'm clean as a whistle at moment. But still even then.

My question is can you be committed of a crime after it's been done with out any other evidence other text?

Idk my situation is a little different then most.

Well all I can say that is fuck the police

That would be a real long shot for LEO. The circumstances would have to be very extenuating. Again unless you were also a contract killer or something, you're probably safe at home on this one.

Personally, if I were going to worry about anything, I would be more concerned about my upcoming business than my past business judging by the details you have put forth. If by some wild strike of chance you would end up on the radar with LEO they aren't likely going to get to you here and now, but there's nothing stopping them from watching you in the future. Again not too likely at all that it would happen, but staying aware of the trail you leave is important in the growing/dealing business. Details details details. Fucking up on the details can have serious consequences in the less than legal business.

This may or may not actually be a close shave for you, but you can use the experience to better prepare you in the future, so it does have the value of a learning lesson.

Hang in there, Your calmer nerves will show up soon enough and all this will just be a bad memory.

Text messages alone should not be enough to indict or convict you unless the text before are say setting up the deal then texts from the day after say something like "hey bro thanks for buying that 20 pounds of marijuana yesterday from me for $20,000 in the Burger King parking lot at 1:53pm, glad we took pictures of the whole thing and secured them in safetey deposit box 8339 at First National Bank"

Also for whatever crime SWIU might have committed, look up the statute of limitations.

Thanks but I figured it out, I'm definitely being watched, but I'm not too worried. Had a buddy get busted with 2 lbs of coke. That explains everything, but I'm good.
