never had a deficiency problem until a recently: it was calcium. bought some CalMag and it did a fine job. how often do you use it and do you soil, foliar or both?

I use foliar if I spot a problem, but typically (in soil) I'd add in 1/4-1/2 dose of calmag in every 9th watering or so as a pro-active measure. My routine in soil is feed, feed, water. feed feed water. feed, feed, water w/calmag.

I'm just starting a (my first) perpetual Hempy grow, so I think after the plants are ready for nutes, I'll stick to the same schedule unless the plants warrant something different.

sounds like a good method. GL

2 weeks after germination I noticed some light brown/yellowing on leaf tips, I used calmag and problem solved. I think my water is shit, right ph, but stripped. I only start my plants indoors then they go outside for 2-3 months. I keep an eye out for signs of deficiencies and use accordingly, sometimes every 2 weeks
