Aight no it's a hermie

Found a few bunches of JUST seeds in the lower sections

The main buds DONT have any seeds in them though, or YET at least...

Is this shit going to just be straight seeds, should I just kill them now? This fucking sucks, I wont be able to start another grow until like SEPTEMBER

I've already put most of my cash I had into this, figuring it would pay off

Nobody is going to want this seedy shit

soil, buckets, 18 different CFL's, nutes, ph up and down, ph meter, and who knows how many hours spent adjusting or maintaining or reading

I was hoping to have the money to buy some seeds off this, but I doubt that will happen.

I should have grown mushrooms and just bought herb with the money i'd make from that, at least mushrooms don't go fucking hermie

I had my own sanity riding on this too, like im worthless but hey maybe I can grow something that makes me and other people happy, maybe I can do that well and be successful with SOMETHING in my life... nope, more failure.

At least when I was a failure before I had a few extra hundred bucks
Dont get too discouraged man its your first grow, i'd keep those buds and smoke them why throw it away? It's all trial and error learning and your grows will only get better and better atleast you didnt spend hundreds dollars on seeds that hermied.

sux man, you need to figure out where the problem is coming from, where the burst hermi flowers are, and what caused them. some kind of stress, maybe a light leak? or maybe they are hermi prone bagseed?

whats keeping you from growing until September? why dont you start some little babies outside and do a guerrilla grow

ive had dank bud with a few seeds in it, the grower usually pulls them all out and you charge 15g instead of 20g; no big deal. people will still want your bud when things are dry, just make sure they know its your headstash and thats why it might seem a little pricey
I dont think it was a light leak. I was trying to gently bend some colas out of the way and the branch snapped, so I had to tie it back to itself for a few days until it healed. That's probably what did it. I also wasn't using a PH meter for a while, trying to go cheap you know, and turns out the water I was using is like 8.3 so they had some major deficiencies, that probably contributed well.

And the babies outside are a no-go because it's all desert, sand and concrete around here.

I'm just worried the seeds developed too early and now the plant is going to focus all of it's energy in the seeds (which seem pretty fucking developed already) - - - they are frosty as fuck though, I hope trichome production doesnt halt...

I chopped two small branches (about 1/16 the size of the main stem) that seemed like they might have been the pollen sacks or something as it was just a huge bunch of fat calyxes.

Next time I will know though, just next time is so far away. I suppose it will be far less work this time as I already have all my materials payed for and shit.

Now I just have to find another way to make a few hundo on the side

Nah dont worry even if it did get pollinated it will still be just as potent. So you actually pulled some seeds from it?

Are you sure? I thought that trichome production was to attempt to capture pollen, and once the seeds are there the plant focuses it's energy on the seeds, bringing down the potency

You live in the desert? maybe if your room was too hot? Heat stress can cause hermies
Yeah I have an indoor/outdoor thermometer that I got from home depot (It basically measures the temp from where the actual unit is, and where this probe is, I placed the probe in the box at plant level) My temps are usually between like 75-82 during the day, and like 70-74 at night... I have two fans pulling in fresh air and blowing it half on the plant and half on the bulbs, and the way my box is its an open top, with the lights dropped in, and half the top is open so its constantly circulating fresh air and keeping the temps down.

I also routinely do a hand test for the lights heat on the surface of the plants, and am always bringing the lights up (im pretty anal about it)

Edit: Yeah I removed a few calyxes, one of them was empty, and the rest had seeds that were like 3/4 the size of a regular seed (bag seed's I've found, never have seen any REAL seeds)

Sucks about the seeds tho. Actually i had hermied plants before that i never caught until I was trimming. It had some seeds but it was still killer chronic...just wasnt sinsimelia. Actually the trichomes are created to protect the seeds and to keep bugs from munching on them because they aare so sticky.
