.....and if it can, will the offspring be all male? Or do i need to brush up on my mendelian genetics?

yes and no. some breeders morph males and grow em out to better see the traits that will be passed on in a cross...peace

Thanks man, do you know what product will turn them? I know you can use colloidal silver to get pollen sack on a female, but what does the opposite for males? cheers

silver thiosulfate eh? I had a look around but still haven't seen a solid answer on whether it can make flowers on a male.....

you probably can if you can do it with females... if you cant find any info on it then you are doing the right thing by trying it out :). People would love to spray some c.s on their males to make them put out some bud instead of chopping them.

i dont think its going to be anything efficient as far as smoking but if your just looking for some seeds you may be able to stress a male into hermie for some popcorn buds. but all that time and energy you would prob be better off just ordering a couple packs of seeds and doing some crossing with full blown male/female or getting some fem seeds and using colidal silver to cross a couple females and produce fem seeds.

noooooooo i dont want them to fully turn, for bud. Im just curious so that if i ever bought a pack of really expensive regular seeds with good genetics, if they all turneed male i could turn the male, collect like 20 more regular seeds from it, and then grow those ones out in search of a female again. Would just save me having to buy another whole pack of seeds and shipping etc.
