that should be a subaru commercial though... because that demonstrates why they are so good.

I need to get a hold of the shop that did that car. I have set a new goal for my STI

Apparently the new ones drive like a boat. Far too much understeer and far too much body roll.
They need to go back to the early 2000's and recapture what they were. They could out handle and out race Porche back then. Now they can't hold it against an Evo X.

I to am a V8 guy.
First car i bought that wasn't a hunk of junk, was a 03 silver convertible Mustang GT.
Saw it on the lot one day driving home from work, pulled in, took it out. Was in the drive way in a matter of hours. I stroked that 4.6 out to 5.0, X pipe, super comp 60's no cats. Pair of hooker headers, some aggressive cams. at idle youd swear a vac house was off of something. at 3500 is when the fun would began.

Unfortunately had to part ways with here.

way home from a interview, saw a sti on the lot. test drove it. fell in love all over again.

i beg to differ with u. The 08 sti kills the X's
Atleast sti's are still rally cars.
I agree on the early 00's this hatch 08 is terrible. i test drove a 06, 07, and 08. Bought the 06. would have got the 07 but it was the out played Blue.

Sweet. The little boxers sound menacing.

My first V8 was a 1967 Fairmont. It was only a small block 289, but it did the trick for me. I'd been spoilt though. My father worked for a time in a car lot as a mechanic. He used to bring home some nice cars. My neighbour across the road had a brother who collected Australian muscle cars. He'd leave a car at his place for few weeks at a time and I was his co-pilot.
Nothing like being 13 years old in a fully loaded 308 A9X hatchback doing 120+ MPH in your neighbourhood streets/straights.
