*****CAN ANYONE HELP????

This is my first grow. I've been using a 315w cmh with no problems. Im About to flip soon and and have just added an HLG 550 rspec In The tent with my cmh. Now all of a sudden I'm getting all these deficiencies and my plants seem to look sick. Plants are about 45 days old

Temp is 82
Co2 1200-1500ppm
Rh 65-67

The large plant is cherry pie which I had no deficiencies at all through veg until I hung this light. The leaf picture was taken from that.

I use compost tea on the weekends and regular feed once during the week. I think I may bump up to two times during middle of the week.

I have similar issues too since I've added some HLG Rspec's. How high is your light? These suckers are powerful. I think they make the plants want more Mg, or more P, but I haven't fully figured it out yet. Waiting to hear from some pros. I didn't have the same issues with CMH only.

I keep my cmh a bit higher around 32inches from canopy and the hlg at 24 inches but I think I may raise it a bit. And yes! I've been reading about strong led and mag issues

I would do the opposite. I had my cmh's at 18" and they were happy. But I tried the leds at that height and then they weren't happy so I raised them up to like 24"+. I'm still really new to using QB's, but they seem to be a lot more potent than the cmh to me.

I love me some CalMag but that might be overkill. I run like 2/gallon and 3 if they ask for more.

Look up phosphorus deficiency on google go to images and you will see pics that look exactly like that the brown rust coloured spots. Theres also a fungus I forget what it's called that looks like that too.

I'm running 18/6 in a 4x5 I'm ready to flip to flower because I'm running out of space, but I want to wait until I get this thing corrected.
That's a lot of light. I wouldn't even go past 50% with the rspec on its own in veg. Never mind with an extra 315cmh. But then im not running co2.
It is a massive increase in light though from 315 to 315+ 550. Would seem like the missing link here is the nutrients and possibly the rate they can absorb them. 82 degrees is fine for LED , LED with co2 I wouldn't be surprised if a few more degrees would help on top of a steady increase in nutrients.

Normally I would just say reduce your light hours, dim the LED, but the co2 throws me off and obviously your already at 18/6 , might be wise to raise the 550 another 6" too until you get it sorted.

This is my weekend compost tea. All nutes per gal.

2gal RO
All per gallon
25 liquid seaweed
10ml calmag
.5 tsp humic acid.
8 tsp seabird guano
7 tsp bat guano
1.5c wormcastings
1tsp Recharge
4-5 tbs Mollases, Came out to about 8.3-10.2-7

During the week it's just RO water, liquid seaweed, maybe some re charge, calmag and liquid fish. Thinking of going from once during the week and the tea to twice during the week and tea.

From my experience and mine alone. Using all that extra stuff in veg. Is not a good start. I think we tend to over think things. Flush, and pull back everything. We don’t want to add all the time, let’s build a strong plant that produces its own (NPK) so in times like this( stressful) it’s able to correct itself through it’s own emergency reserve. What you have is mostly (lockout) and you’ve had it for awhile, so long that now she will not take up water because of the salt buildup. And hey. Let’s lay off all that awesome light while we get things stable. The poor girls are all shook up and uncertain of the future. Peace and HAPPY GROWING. She will pass her stress to you if not checked. Happy plants = happy wife

You are totally right brotha people tend to over do it with nutrients if you use a proper soil mix you should get thru most of veg with not needing anything. The salt comes from to much nutrients as well as bad water correct? I know bad water will eventually hurt your root system. I have done alot of.outdoor grows and been a helper in a few indoors just watering defoiliating things like that never really had my own indoor grows. I'm doing my first one atm it's a great hobby and maybe at the end of it you get some money too. It can definitly be expensive!
