Can anyone identify this? Help a noob out.

Hello all,
Basically i am a semi regular smoker that thought it would be a neat idea to grow instead of simply purchase (and quite frankly I'm beginning to question that rationale). This is indeed my first grow, and I'm using some bag seed although I did purchase some Autodiesel from Herbies.

Anyhow the core of my question is if anyone can identify the issue with the attached images. Essentially, the grow is about 2.5 weeks in, and I noticed this weird discoloration on the leaves starting primarily on the bottom most leaves, and now as the pictures show up on the top leaves as well. However, the roots look nice and white and are progressively getting bigger. Unfortunately this seedling is from the bagseed, so I am unaware of the particular strain.

My set up is pretty simple it's basically a small storage container style bubbleponic setup that i lifted from suretogrow, located inside a small cabinet built from readymade shelving (so it just looks like Ikea furniture). The rest is as follows;

  • 10gal rated air pump/airstone
  • 1.25gal containers are opaque,
  • Aerogarden baskets and grow sponges.
  • Ambient temp=80-85f
  • 2small pc fans intake and exhaust
  • 2-18" t-8 15watt grow lights (sides)
  • 2 overhead 33watt daylight cfl
  • foxfarm nutes Grow big, big bloom, tiger
  • distilled water
  • ph usually around 6.4
Initially, I searched rollitup forums and deducted that it may be nuteburn, so i emptied/cleaned the container and flushed with distilled water which is where i currently am with things.

Is something more urgent going on?

Regards

Are you following fox farms feeding schedule? Your plant may still be a little young to be hammering it with all three of those. Looks like nute burn to me...

Thank you for the quick reply. I guess I was referring to more of the condition of the leaves, not necessarily the strain, but that info is helpful as well.
In terms of the feeding I was actually using the foxfarm schedule at approx 1/4 strength (unless my math was way off which is totally possible). So it would have been GBH, and BB in the early stages, but no Tiger until later on in the grow.

This all assumes that I'm reading the Foxfarm chart correctly. The way the chart looks to me is that let's say for the 1st weeks you mix up 1tsp Grow big and 2tsp Big Bloom to 1 gal of water. OR am I only suppose to use 1 of those components(GBH or BB) depending on the one that I choose. I suppose it would have been wise to contact foxfarm 1st, and clarify.

for that size plant, you gotta go weak. very weak. id give it pure water for a bit, no nutrients, then add something N heavy for a little, just cuz they do look a little light colored. but yea nute burn (its not too much N - thats an almost darkgreen to black leaf.) you got something going on there. pH is also a lil high for hydro, soil is 6.5, but hydro around 5.8 or so.

Thanks. I have it on just distilled water for the past 4 days might wait a few more before going back to like a week 1 feeding at 1/4 strength, and definitely lowering the ph.
