see pics.

got some of this plant food. any good for some dank bud? I have a very nice soil culture. my first mix was a bit strong so I flushed it haven't watered roots since but made a low strength leaf spray and they're loving it

blood bone and carcass meal it says. not sure how to work out the NPA ratio but it says 80g/kg N, 20g/kg P, 58g/kg k

I've also got some fertiliser that seems pretty dank. some slow release organic shit. plants seem happy but I'm a fresh farmer.

the lower leaf damage is because my cat ate them. fukn savage

f fortnight is 2 weeks I think, yeah just using CFLS to veg and find females these plants were on my balcony originally. growing in my cupboard at the moment

my contraption to hold the lights is also temporary I'm busy fabricating a sheet metal light fixture to get the most out of my lights for now. I've seen some people grow some pretty decent bud using CFLS so I think they're sufficient for now.

I'm mist concerned about finding out if this plant food is dank or not dank

not dank.
and you need to get at least a four bulb setup, t5s.
those bulbs won't get you very much herb man, and it'll be leafy as hell, and disappointing.
you need a four bulb t5 at LEAST.
best would be a 400w HID
i'll repeat, and only so you won't be seriously chapped come harvest time, those bulbs will ONLY DISAPPOINT YOU.
just lookin out for ya man.
and I don't see any reason to use gibberilic acid on cannabis, unless you are trying to induce males

GA3 is often used to produce feminised seeds C cording to what I read. it's in at 30 ppm and I'm using a 0.25% as foliar spray.

I think using large amounts may not produce desirable effects. Might have to feed alot less.

don't think people have done much testing with it

this is all a moot point anyways man, you MUST get a different light setup, or in 4-5 months you'll be chapped..
trust me on that

I know nothing. quite curious to see what might happen. I think the guys at the nursery where I bought all this stuff kinda caught on haha and suggested it.

I definitely think a high dosage is a no no and definite not tk be used during flowering. think I'm going to make a weaker dose of foliar spray. when I'm happy with my veg chamber I'll be building an aquaponics goldfish setup under black dog LEDS or some leading horticulture LED grow light manufacturers and ordering some dank Autos for half the batch and the other half organic under CFLs. if this foliar spray works out to be a bomb I will be using it on my aquaponics

definitely out of those I'm expecting 1 female and that's probably going to be one of the new seedlings in my batch. they suffered extensive stress and will probably be faced anyway. going to kick them into flowering in 3 weeks.

I have 380 watts of CFLS I have read posts by well known members getting 60-120grams per plant using less than what I have. if I get 40 grams off 1 plant I'll be happy. decent bomb is very hard to come by in my country and it comes with a fat price and a dodgy deal. my last dealer was a riot but an absolute nutter. What's your setup look like?

ok man, i'm just trying to help, and if you get 40 grams off those after another 3 weeks of vegging??
then you are three times the grower of any I have seen.
my setup is two 600w HIDs (one 12k mh and the other a hps) for flower (three 600s in the winter)
my vege is two four bulb four foot t5s.

I reaaaaally urge you to get different lights man, i'm not busting ballz, just speaking from experience.

I also am a little afraid of slaughterhouse byproducts, prion diseases is a serious thing, especially if you are in Europe/Asia (you mentioned the metric system)

Drop the ga.

Get a t5 or at least more bulbs. The pics of people growing decent bud with cfl are using hundreds of actual watts.

We can tell you are new. "Flushing organics" lol.

GA literally doesn't feed the plant.

As for the nutrients, are you shitting me. Carcass meal. That's ground dead animals. Too big a risk of pathogens.

the guy to talk to about CFL lights is @RM3
but those lil ones are gonna break your heart man, and you need to vege those out a bit more before flowering

Haha no I like criticism I take it. I am following advice of a guy who replied to my thread and I did some research on using CFLS etc.

I'm from the southern hemisphere.

started off with this LED Flood light it's full spectrum. I was advised to try out using a couple CFLS to get the job done better than this light

and by flushing I meant flushing out whatever added organic nutrients and fertilisers I had added to the organic soil I bought. I added some castings and guano aswell when made the soil mix. let it sit and sweat for 3 weeks prior to adding them to bigger pots.

HID setups are not an option for me.

I have opted to either go CFLS and LED when I can afford to buy some proper lights

that's where they were 2 weeks ago.

will try flowering when they're about 60-80cm

If you have two plants or more I suggest you only add your pathogeny-type-meals (blood/bone/carcass) to only one plant

Then try run one plant a little more veganic or at least slaughterhouse free...

Then compare.. and note differences

My guess is you'll sell the carcass plant and covet your cleaner herb

That said, if you have a healthy cabinet, with good temps and rh, then doing cfl's isn't bad at all for veg.. I used to rotate plants thru a cfl cabinet cause they never got happier then in there

However if you flower under them, fuck your life..is what you'll say

Packing on the nodes can be done by any kind of light.
But packing bud on those nodes? requires some lumens, my man

Good luck! Feel free to,
Stop by the thread anytime
