Can anyone recommend a good purple strain?

Well im halfway through my current grow and am planning my next grow which will start just after christmas, I'm living in ireland and ive never seen any purple strains before so im looking to grow a strain which will produce purple buds, or any colour apart from green really, Can any of you guys recommend a good strong strain with a tendancy to turn purple??

Lets see..Purple haze (not the original) Purple Pinocchio, Purple Power,
Purple Kush,Purple Star,Purple Indica,Purple skunk x Dutch treat,
Purple thunder,Purple Urkel, and a rare strain u prolly wont find known
only as "THE PURPS"

actually bcseedking.com has a strain called PURPS, not much information on it though. can anyone enlighten me?

yeah researched bcseedking, wont be ordering there. im considering purple wreck...

Urkel is one of California's most sought after strain. It demands the highest price in any circle. It was crossed with the Train Wreck (T4) male. This improved the vigor of the Urkel, a notorious slow grower. The Purple Wreck has large Train Wreck buds with purple hues. The sweet fruity aroma of the Urkel dominates the cross. The Purple Wreck is short, early flowering and produces dense nugs. Purple Urkel x Train Wreck (T4) 60% Indica : 40% Sativa Flowering Time: 8-9 weeks Yield: 400-500g/m2


any thoughts on this. or maybe purple#1 either. both sound quite good.

I was just going to say purple wreck too lol,I just got some from attitude there only a few weeks old but I will post pics of buds when their done so look out for it in a couple months. I saw a pic of some guys grow of purple wreck on here it looks like the pics attitude had, and the guy said there is a pheno that dosent turn purp. Be on look out for my 5x5 PW sog once i clone the best and most purp of my specimens

yeah i think maybe ill get some purple wreck and purple #1 and grow em together, Wont be untill just after christmas though but when i start growing keep an eye out for a purple journal, never done one before and you dont see too many with purps in em, thanks guys.

i have been looking at purple wreck it looks great :mrgreen: purple is a great strain but it is kind of last years hype. if you can find it you should go for THE BLACK :fire: IT WAS 1 OF hIGH tIMES TOP 10 STRAING OF THIS YEAR :bigjoint:

maybe purples in the states were "last year" but over here in ireland i have never came across it, and i dont think anyone i know has come across it either. Man over here people think skunk is just a term for strong weed. When people buy weed they dont even ask what strain is it. but if they seen some purple bud it would really get their attention..

chemo from kindseeds.com they have a pheno type that is purple i would say 1 out of every 3 has the purple,as well as the god bud had a purple pheno in it,plus they sell a strain called the purps probably alot of the same genetics as the first 2 i mentioned.

I do not know how true it is but I have heard that if you grow in cooler temps, your plants will turn purple!!:bigjoint:

id like to just get a strain with the purple in its genetics, rather than messing around with the temps too much, Think purple wreck is the one for me. ive heard so many people saying how good train wreck is so im presuming purple wreck will do me justice, I'm not looking for huge yields either, an oz of purple bud would do. Could whip it out on special occassions, parties and such.
