Im looking to set up a small closet (dont know dimensions, but not very large) and I was wondering if this will work for odor control.

Im looking to get the Can 33 & RS-6, but do I need anything else? Like ducting? Or does connecting the Fan directly to the filter and mounting to the wall work to circulate the air thuroughly?

I dont need to run it throught a hood becasue im using Florecent for temp control.

Thanks in advance for anyones help.

you will need flex ducting, the filter would sit on the floor, you would connect the flex ducting to the filter and then connect the other end of the duct to the fan then suspend the fan to the ceiling and connect the flex duct to the other end of exhaust fan and exhaust it out of your grow area. hope this helps

If trying to vent away heat, you do not want the scrubber on the floor. Mount it up high , with your air inlet down low.

I'm planning on using it for both Odor and Ventilation, So if I mount the fan, connect ducting and mount the filter to the other end (Exhaust) and place it somewhere mid way along the wall. Then connect Duct to the other end of the fan (intake) and place down the other wall near the plants, would it work to circulate the air thoroughly?

Also I took some measurements, its approximately 5'W x 2'D x 7'H.

I'll try and post a crude picture of what I mean with the Fan & filter mounting.

If exhausting hook the fan intake to the filter via a short straight length of duct. Attach exhaust side via duct to a hole anywhere in the room. Have an air inlet down low, preferably as far from filter as possible, sized twice the surface area of the duct.

Ok, I'll try it out. Gimme a few days to buy the eq. and try it out, I'll post back the details.

Thanks for the help.

Part of the setup-the carbon filter or the end of the exhaust duct- needs to be outside the grow area, that's the whole point of it. I think the best way would be to suspend the carbon filter near the top of the grow box and have a fan connected directly to it pulling air through it and into a duct, the duct should come out the grow box. This way air is filtered before it leaves, and you need to drill some intake holes for fresh air to be drawn into the box.
