Can fast growth reflect high potency?

I have 3 plants growing right now, they have all been sprouted for the exact same amount of days, yet one is completely dominating the others. they are all random bag seeds from different strains and i was wondering if the high growth rate could mean it produces danker buds than the other plants (given they become female)? I know that good genetic strains tend to grow very quickly and i have had plants grow slowly that turn out poorly, so maybe this reg bag seed could turn out to be pretty potent.

Males tend to be more vigorous... pray for a lady! But no, overall fast growth has nothing to do with end potency. :(

Yea, be careful of fast growth, keep an eye on that one for a male. If its bag seed it is also plant genetics though, if its a sativa it will be taller quicker then if the strains are indica, if its hybrid it depends . . . all the possibilities are endless, but between genetics, growing conditions, and all that, u just never know, but good luck!

i had a fairly large bag of seeds. yea i was afraid of that, my last grow i had a really great looking plant. super healthy, branchy, green and amazing. turned out to be male :(

as waxxynuggets said, males are usually faster and look stronger. Are all the seeds from the same bag? you said you had a bag of seeds but were they mixed up seeds that you saved? or all at the bottom of one bag?

they are all from different bags that ive collected over the past year or so, so every one has difference genetics. i have limited space and want to cut out plants which wont be as good as others, thats why im asking.

i would defiantly sex them before i killed any.

i have also found that males tend to grow a little more vigorously in veg then the females of the same strain. but as you are pulling from a mixed bag there is no telling.
