Hi my bros~ can i take a clone from a cloned Plant ? When is the best time to clone?
Oh yeah.... clones from clones from the 70s still around and well.... generational weakening is a myth

Of course. I don’t know if there is a “best time” as long as it’s old enough and healthy.
I have learned through experience that you dont really want to clone from a plant that hasnt shown preflowers yet...

Why's that?
In my experiences they're more apt to be weaker overall. more suspectable to root rot or mold during flowering, they take longer to root, longer to veg. they don't seem to flower as well as plants that came from a mature plant....

your mileage may vary but this is my experience with them.... I'll still take them if the need arises ie: genetics that I want but have to take them right then, I just don't flower them, I grow em up and wait till there showing signs of sex and clone....

Im not doubting your experience. But you're saying that cuttings from plants that are ~2 weeks into flower do better (revegging) than ~4 week old plants that have not been flipped?... or maybe Im not understanding what you're saying.

No not at all, and I should have been more specific, sorry about that cause now that i read it , it does sound confusing..... Plants that arent showing preflowers in veg indicating what their sex is, is what I'm talking about. IE the initial immature seedling from a seed that has yet to show sex.

Ok yeah... that makes more sense.

I got some clones back from my friend whos kept a killer cut of White Widow I gave him alive for 11 years by clone of clone to the ones I got back from him last spring which were 40th generation clone of clone. It was a good solid AAA strain originally and still a good solid AA now.
Anything I've crossed with it is like super charging a strain.
I kept a clone of one of them and have been using a 41st gen for a mom. I've cut her back 5 times already.
