can i cut leaves off my plant?

my top leaves on my plant are getting too tall and i have no room to tie down and i cannot raise my lights anymore, can i just cut off the tallest leaves, i need to cut off 4 of the top leaves but still leave the main cola, can i do this? if i do the main cola will be fine and my plant will be ok until its done..

Sure go head. Just don't ever go scissor crazy. Only cut a few at a time. Your plant heals from its wounds and you want it to focus on growing you weed not fixing cut leaves. So if you so want to trim only trim a small amount then give it a rest a day before you trim some more. it's better to trim over a long period of time. This is just my opinion.
