Can I Cut Off The Fan Leafs?

Pull the leaves, don't pull the leaves, it doesn't matter if you plan to keep growing, try it all and see what works for you.

But just looking at your bottom leaves I can tell that your plant was slightly over fed at some point and is now happy again with nute levels. If you were to see splotchy interveinal yellowing on them, you would know you may need more magnesium. Just an example of how keeping those fan leaves on can give you useful information to use on your next nute decision.
Yeah I just transplanted because i think she was nute burnt plus she needed a bigger pot., shes doing much better now.

Well strain is a strain. It can be a nugget or a fist size bud, if grown properly the bud quality will be the same. Defoliation is the practice of creating as much light to each individual bud site, no more week airy buds and no more larfy trash that you really don't even wanna trim. Give Defoliation a shot and see what you think, not going to be all that helpful on a Sativa dominate plant other than keeping it shorter as sativas are usually less leafy anyhow. Remember the droop theory, anytime a plant leaves droop, she's telling you she's not happy about something and it's usually because water is depriving it from air and then you get them odd ununiformily yellowing leaves or blotches.

I find

Right! Ive seen pictures of other peoples grows.I can imagine what u mean my friend. I guess the trick is getting them short and bushy
How tall is your grow room? Subtract your pot height and space needed for lights and minimum distance plants need to stay from the lights. What is left is your usable grow space and you want to get as many bud sites as possible into that top foot of your usable grow space.

So you need to have some idea of how much you expect your plant to grow in flower and canopy management strategies to stay inside your usable space. The more sativa in your strain, the more likely she'll grow taller in flower.

Like i said Im new so i just bought a 3'x3'x72" tent to get started and get my feet wet. My lights are all the way to the top. and im dealing with some light bleaching now.. I have a kush that is 20" tall and Im already running out of room. shes only week 2 of flower. I didnt realize you needed 3 feet of space between the light and plant when i purchased my tent.

You can switch to some cooler lights but you'll need to study up on super cropping for this grow.

You create more mains when you manifold. It's a process so I won't go into detail but this is what it looks like lol before, right after, and here's that same plant now :D
Wow that shyt looks crazy. You gotta know the ins and outs of growing to be doing that kinda funky stuff. Its like a Bonsai tree. I like it!

Grab you an air cooled hud, and a ducted fan and exhaust. Run that heat out of the tent. You'll be able to put your light much closer. Usually bleaching and heat go hand and hand and it takes a lot of light to cause bleaching. Bend your branches dude, every branch that is getting taller than another, pinch the branch between your fingers firmly, almost crush it and rock the branch back and forth carefully at the pinch spot and keep doing that till you have an even canopy and when monster cropping defoliation is very effective.

Cant too proud to ask for a little help. Maybe Ill experiment with some bag seeds in the future. These few seeds i got now came from Amsterdam and cost like $150 so I'm scared to kill them.

Yeah, Its pretty hot in the room. Is fall here and temps inside and out have been on the cool side. the whole house is a nice 74 degrees but the bedroom where my grow tent is 85 because of the hot ass light.

28 Comments. Monster Cropping (a.k.a. Flowering Clones) is new method of growing that one of our members brought to my attention. Monster Cropping essentially involves taking clones from flowering marijuana plants, and then rooting those clones.
