Can I do this with one exhaust?

Can I hook up the carbon filter to the air cooled light to the exhaust fan out of the tent? Not sure if it would be in that order just wondering if it could be done.

If someone has some advice as to in what sequence it needs to be in that would be great.

I am going to have a 190 cfm intake fan in a 2x4 tent with a 400 or 600 watt (haven't decided yet) and don't know if I need to buy another inline fan and hook them up separately or not. Thx all

I. Don't think that 190 cfm fan will cut it. Ull prolly have to go to a 6in fan and I think theyr almost 300cfm. Run an adjustable controller so that u can work with the temp. Or u can run 2 190 cfm fans. One for light and one for carbon filter

Thx for the help are u talking about an adjustable controller to control the speed of the fan? Then I could put the filter and light together? Could I keep the temps down using a 600W in a 2x4 and use passive intake and the 6" inline?

if the fan will push it the configuration will work I think fan carbon filter light exterior

So I can push or pull the air? OK I thought an inline I had to pull the air...so if thats the case I can use an inline fan on the intake as well?

Yes for the speed. Not sure what u mean by put them together?

Your gonna have a very hard time keeping that cool with a 600w in there. so id recommend you go with a 400w or maybe even 250w.

I got a 400 watt in a 4x2x8 and with the ac off it gets upto 85 during hottest part of the day. Im using a 190cfm exhaust pulling through a carbon filter. Lights not air cooled.

Edit: pulling is much more efficient the pushing. So pull!

Thx that's so good info i needed! By put them 2gether i meant putting my air cooled light and filter through the ducting to the inline fan, or if you have a fan exhausting the filter then another one to exhaust the heat of the lights.

If ur using one fan .. filter>>light>>exhaust fan (pull)

Two fans .. filter>>exhaust fan .... light>>exhaust fan

no problem with heat, but i run my AC at 72-74 all day.
passive intake at the bottom.
173CFM 4'' fan.
