Ok, I have a half of bail of some Promix-BX and some perlite. Can I grow in just this? Without adding anything? Low on dough, and have some organic nutes and want to put together a small Sog grow. Can I go with just this? Or is it lacking to much to go through a whole grow? When would I add nutes?
 
You can start off in it. You growing from seed? If you are you shouldn't need fertilizer for a week or two. What nutes do you have? You can get Alaskan fish emulsion 5-1-1 cheap, they also make a bloom formula 0-10-10, both are less than 10 dollars.
 
No i was going to throw some clones in the promix-bx perlite mixture, wait a 10-14 days then add some organic flowering nutes. My usual mixture is 2 part promix-bx, 1 part ocean forest foxfam soi8l, with extra perilite. Didnt want to go to long in veg, so i thought the ocean forest wouldnt be needed and thought it might cause problems down the road. Want a short veg and then straight 12/12. what is everyones thoughts??
