Yes. I usually 12/12 from seed. And especially yes if you plan to finish them in those square pots. You could veg longer and grow trees but you might need a bigger pot. Short veg gives you a smaller plant less yield. Longer veg larger plant more roots need a bigger pot. I say go for it and I really like those planters.

Edit: so I looked up those pots. They are in Australia. Also. No veg is my way. I go straight into flower because I want small plants fast and yield is not a concern. I like 2 gallon pots for smaller plants.

I really like those pots. They are made in Austtralia. I googled them lol. I am in US. They are the perfect size for 12/12 from seed like I do.

Just keep in mind everything is relative.

Short veg, smaller plant, smaller pot, less yield, faster.

Longer veg, larger plant, larger pot, more yield, takes longer. Also will need more light/nutes etc.

It all just depends how you want to do it. Your plants look great bro.

Hey bro. Can you tell me how much you paid for those pots? I've been looking for square pots for a long while. The square ones at the home improvement centers are slightly larger than I am looking for and there isn't a lot of variety? Like there will be dozens of choices in round pots and like 2 sizes of square pots. Plus I am looking for a fair price and they seem expensive. So, although shipping overseas would cost an arm and a leg, so I am not going to order from Aussie I am just curious of the price. Thanks.

Thanks its my first grow in this apartment. Very bushy plants. Also first order online and I really like the service. Inidca is so much better than sativa for closets
You are correct I grow indica and sativa. Sativa stretches but is a great smoke. My last Amnesia got like 4 1/2-5 feet tall and went like 13 weeks. Indica you can keep short and stocky. My last was like maybe 2 feet tall and went 10-11 weeks. I use less than 300 watts for lights starting with a small CFL then move to a 150 HPS and add a 180 LED that draws maybe 100-120 watts later in flower You can train either way but I would rather not bother. I mostly just let the plant do its thing tho I may pull off a few fan leaves it te foliage gets to thick. Looks like your gonna have some short bushes if you flower soon.

I paid 12$aud so maybe 8usd? I'm using 50watt cfls there really bright give me headaches when I open the cabinet for too long. I've got some seeds that I don't know if they're indi or sat. Might try them next

My first grow I used 4 65 actual watt CFLs. They work great and are bright as hell. They do put off some heat tho. Then I went to LED and now HID with LED to supplement later in flower. I still use that 65 watt CFL early on When they are small and for side lighting some too. They work great.

If I ever grow another sativa I will definately go 12/12 from seed if it's a photo. My last was a Dinafem Amnesia XXXL Auto. It is bred to be large hence the XXXL in its name. It is straight up trippy Fire weed tho. It takes about 13 weeks compared to a indica auto that can finish in as little as 8 weeks. I also grew the Dinafem Original Amnesia photo. I intended to go 12/12 from seedling, but it stunted early so I gave it about a month to veg. It did not get more than 3 feet tall since it was stunted. I gave it about a month to veg to get it ready to flower.

Anyway, Sativa is great too. All depends on what YOU want. These days I am not currently growing but have been on a Bodhi kick and there is another breeder I want to try if I start growing again.

I went on eBay looking for square pots. I really like that pot lol but I am sure it would cost a small fortune to have them shipped to the us. But thanks for the info.
