compact flourescents will do fine, id get a few or more 23 watts, the more you have the more bud you have for flowering you want soft whites

also they sell Y splitters at home depot so if you get like 3 of those you can run 4 flouros off 1 socket

yes its safe to grow in. CFL's will do fine. Surround your plant with as many as you can. Just go to Home Depot and they will have everything for you.

like the guy said put has many in the growroom has possible get daylight spec make sure at least 1 of them is warm daylight this will give the little heat needed. But just don't exspect ounces you will have done ok if you get 1 ounce.h.p.s are the light for max yeiled i have tried h.i.d but h.p.s are alot better allround for veg and bloom. But we all start some where sell alittle of what you grow to friends and up grade with the money.I have a sweettooth going unde 2 4ft flouresnts now but i also have 2 wall mounted 150 watt low energy use cfl's on each side and shit that room is bright the plants love it.It is my mother and cloneing section, but had to put her in there because the other rooms are full of blueberry.Ijust leave her in the room for 12 hours then take her out and put her in a section under the cloneing/mother room whitch has total blackout, then bring her out the next morning and so on.

Thanks all I'm just looking for small quantities, then I'm going into breeding, how tall does the plant have to be in order to take clones height wise?

Clones can be taken shortly after plant goes into vegetation. I have seen it done young, but I would say waiting 5-7 weeks into vegitation so the plant becomes a little more mature and stable, and you have more nodes and branches.

You cut on the 3rd node down at a 90 degree angle, so that would give you an indication of the best time. When the plant has a good selection of branches and nodes and is healthy.
