Man you've got a lot to learn, germination 101 plant seed in soil or rockwool or any other medium you plan to use,keep the medium most and the seed will do the rest. As for lighting you've got to decide what kind, how much are you willing to spend ? it can get quite expensive if you don't do the research. As many of us said, go to the forum on this site and learn....Good luck and have fun my friend.

This is my first grow also mine is going pretty good right now but i do wish i would have read alot more before i started it would have saved me time money and kept me from making all the mistakes i have made to this point. If you are really serious about getting something to growing and growing right you better start with the research like everyone is telling you to do believe me you will be glad you did in the long run. The way I see it there aren't too many options for me. This is going to be a PC Grow box. I'd love to do a 36 square foot grow with C02 and humidity.

You will want to start simple that is what i have done and i still should have done more research before i started. You are going to find out you will never get anything to grow that is going to be worth while without putting some time and effort into this.

And if you can lower the PH after the bud has already appeared, does that mean you can use a PH higher than 7 for sprouting?
