can i grow out of this space? (pics - need help/advice)

ok i currently have pc box grow going...



i realize that its a small space and the grow will be limited. im on a tight budget and limited space...and this is my first grow ever.. plus i need to be super discreet. my goal is to grow a plant with a decent amount of yield...does not have to be huge. because the pc case is so small i tried looking for something else that's bigger but still discreet...so i came up with this, and want to know if it would serve as a decent grow box? from my perspective it would be perfect...it even has a lock but i want to see what the pros think before i start anything




i'd be growing out of the cabinet on the left side...is it possible? i'm trying to keep things as simple as possible!

i dunno man, that looks pretty much way too small... And also for pretty much any strain at that, sorry to bust yur dreams but i dont think itll work... plants bush outwards so itd have to be wider, and also being super stealthy with it, what are u plannin on for the smell???

You can do it.

Just don't expect a massive harvest. Your best bet would be to grow lowryder but you could also grow some Indicas. It is amazing how small you can keep the plant by pruning and trimming. I would only try to grow 1 plant in that small of a space.

regarding the space issue...
how is it that people can grow out of mini fridges and speaker cases and pc cases if that cabinet is too small??

how can someone grow out of something THIS small??



like i said i'm a total noob at this....but i'm a little confused because that space is bigger then what i see a lot of other people growing out of??

You should look up GypsyBush's thread, hey grew like 6 really small LST'd plants out of a nightstand, in a aerogarden. Also look up LST'ing if you don't know what that is.

you could use it to start them. try to find a server tower. with all the companies going out of business one man trash is another man's well you know how it goes. You could grow two in a tower and have it next to the window or in a closet. and use the powersupply as a balast. after all that is what they are. if that doesnt work 4 u then um........well keep thinking McGuiver

hell ya you can.. it won't be happy when it bushes out to the point of hitting the sides but it will adjust to the space it has. also you cant really use anything besides cfls because it will get too hot. what you should do is start 1 or even 2 plants and there and you'll find somewhere more spacious to put it in. If you're anything like most people youll be thinking about your plant all day and come up with somewhere else to put it.

better go 12/12 right away with that space

yes you could definitely do it. go find one of the twenty threads on lst on the forums and you could get a decent yield if done right. dont let them veg for long though, you will be sorry if you do, maybe like a week or two after they sprout but any more and your plants will get too big for the spot. you could even start them in 12/12 and that would make harvest that much sooner. if you already have seeds youd better hope their mostly indica cause a sativa would grow outta that thing in a month

medimary user....if he goes 12/12 right away then des that mean he will have to go for 6/12 when flowering (if it where to fit in that box?)

i do how ever suggest you not use paper foil and use mylar which is found at your local hardware store....the thing about foil is that when it reflects it shoots back the light in beams....which will cause your plant to "Smoke itself"...or otherwise burn ....die...what ever terms u want 2 use...

correct me if i am wrong, but wouldnt this space make for a perfect micro scrog operation?

go 12/12 from seed or clone or whatever and it will most likely stay small enough to finish in there,and if not use lst to make it fit.
