Can I Grow Peyote In My Grow Room?

Well the title has it. If I manage to find some peyote seeds, or a cutting, will it grow okay in my grow room? I know it takes years, but thats why I would want to start sooner rather than later.

Speaking of which, how do you get peyote seeds or cuttings? I have never actually even seen peyote, just heard stories (It's really cold where I am at).

Anyone know about the legality of ordering through the mail?

i have ordered all kinds of seeds on the net they are great but cactus seeds are a bitch to get them started peace and good luck

I grew a peyote under my 400 watt Metal Hallide for two years. It wasn't even close to producing any buttons in that time and, it was a bitt soft to the touch from humidity. I would try grafting it to speed up the growing cycle, the peyote root is designed to make it grow slow. Butt thankfully you can graft it, on a cheap common cactus that has a vigorous root system that speeds up full maturity 2 fold. It's all on www.erowid.com. P.s I got really high on XTC and cociane and decided to make tea with it one night. I was so High on Coke And E I couldn't distinguish the effects from one another . Then Again it was only 3 years old. for all intensive purposes I would graft that little fucker, It's seems EZ and well worth it. And don't use any marijuana soil for it. get a special medium for cactus and never spay it or water it.

Thanks for the info. And I cant grow it outside, like I said, it gets cold here, very cold. My hometown averages 250 inches of snow a year.

250 inches of snow? Thats unbelievable dude. So you get 20 feet of snow a year? lol

Yep, our record was like 340 something I am pretty sure. I googled it but the average stated is between 150 and 300 inches depending on elevation. So ya, no way it would grow outside.

I have wondered this myself. I would imagine a hps would grow it but I wouldn't have the first clue. If someone has grown one to buttons and can describe how they grew it I will be ordering some for sure.

google it, plenty of folks grow it, indoor peyote grows.
