Can i harvest the top half of my plant?

Can i harvest the top half of my plant and leave the rest to mature. most of my top colas have almost matured and the bottom buds pistils are all still bright white. would it be to much stress or would it be an ok thing to do. has anyone ever done this before?

Nope people do it all the time as do I. Its common for the top to finish before the bottom due to the light not reaching the bottom... PEACE

Thanks gun. another question do you have to do a flush before you harvest just the top colas??

i know im bringing up an old thread but i would like to know more on this if anyone can give me some insight on this it would be appreciated, will the plant go under to much stress
