CAN I HAVE A 6" COOLTUBE REF. for 6x600w inline on a single exhaust fan

I've heard some iffy statements about running two cooltubes through one duct with an inline fan; but i've never heard of attempting 6. I guess it would all depend on how hot the bulbs can operate at. Your air at the end of 6 600W bulbs would probably be about 160 degrees ferenheight. If your last 2-4 bulbs can operate in that temp, then I don't see why it couldn't be acheived, what are your bulb recommended burning temps?
 
Going to be warm/ hot. Heat decreases the life and reliability of your components. I would experiment. Hang 2 then turn it on and see how it goes. Continue adding 1 light at a time and test the temperature of your exhaust heat after you let each one heat up. Write down your results and see what you got. I would at least have another exhaust fan for the grow room itself if you do join all 6. Keep us updated.
 
i have a 600w and 2 x 400w on a single exhaust running now without problems,does it matter if the fan is stronger and pulling the air out faster would decrease the temp. on the last 2 bulbs
 
i am running 2x 600 and a 1000 through one 6" fan 440cfm and i have it turned down to half speed with no problems
 
ill ask this question in this thread:

how hot are fans allowed to get before they risk failure?

seems like if you got 3 or 4 lights exausted in the same loop, and the fan is in the attic is pulling the air, it would get mighty hot very quickly.

ask at the store where u buy it i think mine is labled at 80-90c

do you measure the ambient air around the fan or the air traveling through the fan.

it seems like you would measure the air traveling through.

It depends on manufacturer i'm sure, but I forgot to open the closet door to my grow, and it got to 120 degrees in there for over 12 hours, and the plant(may be shocked, but all my equipment seems to be working ok.

The more heat that your equipment is subject to, the lower life expectancy. I can't say how much and how long, but increases in temps = lower equipment life; although i'm told HID bulbs need to be replaced every 2-3 harvests anyway.
