hi all, coming to the end of a pineapple express now, she is not very big and is not yeilding how I wished so I can't use buds for cannabutter, I know it's not a usual subject here but does anyone know if I can use the supper frosty leaf trim to make some cannabutter, and if so is it the same method?
thanks for looking at my thread, and I would turn to hash but I have no idea where I would get a mesh to be able to do it.

You can use anything that has trichomes. I made some that knocked my dick in the dirt and I only used trim from my first and only auto grow.
Use the same method as you would with bud.
Hash bags are on amazon kinda cheap.
Good luck,save me a bite

If it's super frosty then it'll produce some quality cannabutter. I used to make it from schwag but now do exclusively trim.

Whats your method for making cannabutter? I use coconut oil + trim + h2o in a crock pot on low for X number of hours. I don't specify a number of hours because I'm not certain that the 24 hours I usually do is quite necessary... Use cheese cloth to separate trim from h2o + canna coco oil then place h2o + canna coco in the fridge. Separate canna coco oil from h2o discard h2o.

thanks for the help guys, I have no recipe for any, I was just going to have a look online, but if anyone knows shortbread they will know it's mostly butter, so it only seems fair to have cannabis butter, does anyone have any recipes? and if I may ask would baking not harm the trichomes, I know thc is activated at 200 degrees, what temp is it useless?

thc isnt activated at a specific temp but speeds it exponentially, yes heat does degrade, non linearly. the lower temp you decarb the better.
I don't know anything about what your making but coconut oil is absorbed into your body about twice as fast and is more efficient. yes the actual baking will destroy alot as well, that's why most edibles are sedating.

Anything that calls for oil or butter can be made with weed infused oil or butter. I find that most things that have chocolate tend to mask the flavor quite well. One favorite is banana chocolate chip muffins with herb. Vanilla extract added to baked goods also does well to help mask the flavor. Though I'm a advocate of strong edibles tasting strongly of weed as an indicator of how much respect you should have for the potency.

Sure. We made 2 batches of c'butter last winter. One batch was cut with lanolin and the other we used cocoa butter. Both are excellent moisturiziers but I'm not sure what extra the pot adds. BigSteve.

Absolutely all the sweet leaf you trim off is awesome for butter or oil. You can use the stems too chop em up good and add em too the trim. Good luck I make oil it last longer in storage....Just sayin
