can i run two 1000 watt lights in a 36 sqaure foot space?

i know 50 watts per sqaure foot is the norm but people have told me a 1000 watter can take care of 36 sqaure feet by itself. Unfortunately i have two and it would feel like a shame not to use both for flowering. Ones a mh the other is a hps.

how powerfull should my blower be to do this? How many cfm's?

I figure if i have my blower distributing heat to the plant tops, the light itself and have a good exaust i should be okay...am i wrong?

Hps is better to flower anyways. Use the mh for veg to conserve your hps bulbs. I spend 400 bucks every few months on bulbs, save you money in the long road.

No one can really give you a good answer without knowing more about your setup. Are we talking about open reflectors, cool tubes, sealed/ducted hoods, etc.?

shit...well i haved a 465 blower, site said its good for 2 or 3 1000 watters.
The cubic feet in my room is like 270 cubic feet definatly way short of 465. I can move more than that room full of air every minute i think.

Ive got aircooled hoods but no cool tube..... im thinking of just hanging my bulbs solo oldschool with no reflector to cut down on the heat the reflectors would draw in(since metal draws in heat)...would that help cut down heat??? Im not plannin on using them both for veg just both of them for flower if i can.

Its 55.5 watts per sqaure foot. It dont seem like allot at all but with 1000's i have no clue ive never grown with those yet.

I want those dense sticky icky sexy flexy buds lol watever that means

id say just do it cuz if you have the money and knowledge for what youve already got then it wont be hard to correect if it is a little warm! its all about adapting day by day in a new grow room

Okay guys, well i have another option. I have this one room that i could cut off and make it a 10 x 10 grow chamber. Do you guys think a hydrofarm 465 blower could deal with those two 1000 watters in a space like that provided i had a good exaust fan?

I didnt wanna use this room to grow in but it seems smarter if im gonna use 2000 everybody in this thread is kinda hinting im overkilling and they know more than me most of em so fuckkkk...

It rarely gets above 70 farenheit here inside my house if that can help you answer.

that should be good. id keep the hoods though. im working on getting some vented hoods, I run 3 1000k hps in a 12'x8'x9' room and just the lights bring the room to 85 with an exhaust fan running. Ive gotten by but as soon as I can im getting some new hoods.

A 1000 watt will cover a 4x4. So if your going to go for 2 then you got 16+16 = 32.

Sure you can go for it but you would benefit greatly from more light because your pretty much borderline lack of light. After you crop perhaps invest in 3 600 watters and sell the 2 1000s. Use air cooled hoods.
