a (what was at one time dank) sour diesel plant was simply cut at the stalk and left in a basement for 4 months with fan leaves and all. it ended up coming my way and after removing all fan leaves and others... it still smells like dried fan leaves...or better said hay. if it goes into a jar with some rehydrating agent (segment of paper towel in an open plastic ziplock bag) would it regain any of its original dankness that went to hay hell?

You left it hanging for 4 months?

I have yet to get a successful cure. I have tried 2 times, first time I didn't let dry long enough, second time it dried to fast. Both times still were killer and the taste was kick ass, it just didn't have the bag smell.
No chance to fix it!!!!

No way lol it was somebody else that grows for the helluvit to see what he comes up with
the cooking is a great idea, I hadnt thought of that... I was kinda thinking hash or BHO

im pretty sures its too far gone to restart the curing process. Curing takes place at a certain RH and temp kinda like alcohol production. Minus a few yeasts, most need an even constant temp of X to produce alcohol for several days/weeks. The same thing happens with plants. If you get too far out of that butter zone curing stops and the hay smell is just about all that comes through.

bho would be a really good way to get all its worth. Cooking too but with bho you can just add a little mix of some super good smellin stuff to give it a little flava.

About how much is there as well weight wise??

not bad should get a nice return on bho or whatever extraction you choose.

if you have the supplies run bho then just add into whatever you want. it dissolves pretty well. saw a candy recipe for suckers/hard candy and it was simple and effective.
