Can I save my tomato top?

We had a severe storm pass though today and it was followed by very heavy winds. This broke the top off of my 6 1/2 foot tomato plant. I have rooting gel and and repaired it the same way you would clone weed, but will this work? I have no experience with cloning and the top is about 3 ft long with several small tomatoes on it. Please help, thanks.

Yep, you can stick her right in the ground and she'll root. Tomatoes root really easily. I've never tried a piece that big, but I'd assume it would work if you keep it moist.

i have cloned tomatoes before and satch is right-those root really easyli-just put them in a dark glass, filled with water and they should root fine.
