Why not let it get bigger and have a top bigger than a string bean.... you want grams from plant, not joints..

27" height restriction, start flowering now, they will triple in size so if they 8" now the biggest will be 24 inches in a month.

Next wednesday will be 28 days veg.

Can i start flowering these? I know i wont get much....
Yes you can flower them, but why just grow to harvest small smoke? You'll regret it later when you steam it and you don't have any more of that strain.

considering the height of my cabinet being 27 inches tall and room for the lights, how tall should i grow them before flowering?? They are 3 1/2 inches now

Let's say two feet; You can SCROG them in that cabinet or top them/both. If you do it right you can have that cabinet full of buds! I would definitely top.

Well then I would say give them some more veg time until they get around 8-10 inches then flower away. Some people go into flowering mode from the time the seed germinates until they harvest, there is NO vegging time at all. It still makes flowers. perhaps in the meantime you can find a larger space to flower in, so that you can get a better overall yield ( Assuming you have the wattage of light necessary).

How many total watts do you have? what kind of lights? don't expect any more than 1/3 of a gram per watt of light. so if you got ten (10) 23 watt CFL, dont expect more than 80 grams total dried weight. If using a HPS then perhaps a 1/2 g/watt if everything goes extremely well and the plant has excellent genetics.

From the looks of it, the plants are probably bagseed, 3 inches is pretty small for 3 weeks of growth, so don't expect the motherlode of bud to be on them plants. They look good and healthy right now though.

As Drama said they will at least triple in size by the end of flowering so start flowering at 8 inches.... Or better still make a bigger grow box.

you can start flowering now, but it really is up to you & what yo think is best.

but they seem fairly small to me, i would let them grow just a little but more.

They are bagseed. Its my first grow and i dont plan on getting a bigger space. I have 4 26 watt daylight 6700K cfl, 1 30 watt daylight 6700k CFL and a 18 watt flor tube. I would be happy if i got a blunt or two of each plant. This is just a learning experience really, i plan on getting better seeds and doing it a lil bigger later.

If i topped them then i would have to wait longer to flower right?
