I live here in sunny southern california, I'm planning out my first ever outdoor grow.
Just a quick question, Can I start growing in Mid to Late Febuary?

I know the last frost date is in early Feb.
Please let me know, Thank you :leaf:

Im also wondering that, but rem your mother was outdoors and you cut clones off to keep a few flowering indoors this wouldnt work. Maybe if you had some autoflowering strains.

you can try to find out when the last frost is in your area, that would be the best way to find out for sure. Can also be in farmers almanac too. Last frost date look for :bigjoint:

Edit:
Frost Protection

The average first frost for Southern California is Thanksgiving, and the average last frost is the end of January. However, our gardening region is so broad and varied, with a multitude of microclimates, that some of us will have to deal with yearly frost, and others of us won't.

Hope this helps guys

If you start em your seeds outdoor it shouldnt go in to flowering for months.

If your start em indoor for a month an shift em outside you will get some flowering an it would revert back to veg growth in 30- 60 days. U use this time to eliminate some of your males. You will have a tree at the end of the season if you start em in Feb.

I start mine indoor for 30-60 days an transplant em out in june an they go to flowering asap an are done by sept-oct. I want my plants to be small an conciealable, under 4 ft.:leaf:
