can i switch light cycle ?

i am 6 weeks into flower and i need the light to be on at night instead of day. Should i leave them in 24 hour light to switch ? OR should i leave them in 24 hour dark to switch ? surely it wont cause hermies from THAT.........will it ?

Why would you want to flip flowering MJ that is so close to harvest???

You can't flip the plants by giving it more dark. It will only start to flip once you give it 18 or more hours of light a day.

Unless of course you mean something totally different by the word 'switch'.

I agree don't do it if you can avoid it but if you must, do it gradually over 3 or 4 days.

Give them the extra darkness and that wont harm them at all. When changing times during flower never expose them to more than 12 hours light, extra dark time wont hurt them (they are big girls now and all grown up so they not scared of the dark anymore lol).
When changing lighting times during veg the opposite should apply so they shouldnt get any more than 6 hours darkness and some extra hours of light wont worry them either.

Thanks Blaze !!! i would just rather it stink at night instead of day. and i took a gut shot at what u said already/ 24 hours of dark , now their back on shedule.
