can i switch to 12/12 at 6 inches?

i want switch to 12/12 but my plant is only like 6 inches but it like 5-6 weeks old,i waited to long to transplant it to a 5 gallon pot it under a 400 watt mh light bulb,i want the plant to be done by the end of may so i can have some weed to smoke on my birthday
 
end of may?? that's only 40 days away?

You can flip them now and in about 60 days you will have bud assuming the plant is mature enough which it should be at 5 weeks.
 
it a simply yes or no question my brithday is in the middle of june so i want the bud ready to smoke by then but you know you got to let the bud dry for like a week then put it in a jar for a week,i want the plant to be ready for harvset by the end of may doe and it ak48 so it will be done in 7-9 flowering weeks

Simple Yes or No question, shows how little you know about anything... Sorry dude...
You can simply do what ever you want... [so, it's really always up to you]
You didn't wait too long to TP...[but somehow you think you did...]
It's only 6" tall because you screwed it some how...[6" at 6 weeks? Seriously?-does it even have roots?]
So, by all means, put your future 3 gram monster into bud...[do it now!]
3-4 grams should give you a bowl by your birthday...[maybe you'll get 1-2 grams of good bud]

Don't even flip it. Just chop it down, roll it up (haha rollitup) and smoke it like a champ. It won't make u high but u can start a thread about it. And after all is said and done, isn't that what life's about?

Yes you can switch to 12/12 whenever you want.
I've read a few people starting 12/12 from seed so why not?
Give it a try and post your results
 
You can not rush nature, if your plants take longer to mature, then you must wait.
However, if you really want to smoke on your birthday...
... you can clip a couple lower buds off the plant early, and let them dry up.
It won't be fully mature buds, or won't even be the best tasting cured, but it will do the job.
