She will be 4 weeks old on monday.
She is growing coco with GH flora series 3part nutes.
She is at 7 nodes.
I was wanting to know what would happen if I topped her right now.
I know people say dont top autos.
I am just curious on how she would do if I did top her since she has not started flowering yet.
What are your thoughts on this.
Thank you

Its too late to top. You can top autos but it needs to be done earlier. If you decide to top that one don't top it low. Just pinch the top off to make side branching catch up.

Its not getting enough light. That's why its stretched. I wouldn't too that at all. Just bend it over.

Thank you for the reply.
If I do top her, I was thinking just the newest top.
So you think I should just bend the top down instead?
So if I do top her, would that stop the stretch?

This just a hobby grow for me.
I let friends and family have it when its done.
She has been growing under a 150w ufo light, I know its maybe 75w actual.
I have 2 40w actual cfls on each side of her also.
I also set her in the sun through the kitchen window about 5 hours a day.
So she has 5 lights total on here 18/6

Just out of curiosity, why do you want to top? I'm just curious. I don't grow Autos, but I wouldn't have thought to do that.

Cool. I hope it works! You'll have to let us know when it's done. Nice looking plant.

It's your plant, so you are free to do whatever to her you choose. But topping will slow it down for a few days, and autos' days are numbered, so you won't get that missed growth back. Bend her over and that will make the side limbs grow more.

Good luck.
