Obviously i know u dont use blacklights on your plants EVER but i would buy 15 watt flouro tubes. (Thats what it says on the lamp thing) i think theyre both 18". It also says it fits "F15T12 bulb types" and also T8 and T12. Ive just never heard of the first one. Anyway is it worth it? What would the lumen output even be from 2x 15 watt flouro tubes..?

you can use the base to hold the bulb but you'll need grow bulbs. walmart sells them. i used about 8 of these for 2 plants and got pretty crappy results so i wouldnt use them other than for seedlings as aknight3 said.

Maybe you didnt read my whole post. I said, "Obviously i know u dont use blacklights on your plants EVER but i would buy 15 watt flouro tubes."
i think we answered your question, chucky was just trying to help point you in a direction to explain the light spectrum as it relates to plants, because i think anyways, if you are going to grow, you should know this stuff...im sure he read your whole post, we get alot of these questions asked repeatedly every day, it gets tiring answering them week after week, best of luck to you friend.
