Can I use bubble bags with just one bucket?

I have some trim , bubble bags and ice and 1 five gallon bucket , I was wondering if i could just use that ?

I went to the store that had them and only bought one because the video I watched to make some and I thought they used only one bucket, I watched it againand it looked like they had two additional ones off camera.

I’m not even sure what those buckets were for now tbh

Yes. You would need to use the 220 bag in the bucket alone with the ice/water and plant matter, work it for a bit then squeeze the work bag out in the bucket. All your reward is in the bucket of water now. Fit the bubble bags over the lid. Bottom up starting with the biggest micron, and fit the others over that in order. Make sure the first one is on really good, or it will screw up the grip on the rest. Then just flip the bucket in a bath tub and let the water go. You already caught your trichomes with the bags as it ran thru. I recommend a second run just to see what you get. I got the same amount both washed last time I did it.

So use the largest micro to put the trim in and agitate it in the bucket . The goods are in the water.

the putother bags largest first then smaller and smaller so on the outside is smallest. Pull all the bags over the Open top of the bucket with the goods in the water and pull towards the base pretty much ;

hold On well to the bags and bucket and flip it

and that will catch every thing normally?
How do I let each bag drain individually since they drain at different rates? Just hold all three at the same time over the tub ?

Sorry for the delay, but correct. The smallest bag will be covering all the others on the outside. Flip into a tub or outside somewhere. All your hash is caught by the screens. You can run water thru them to get all the heads to the center of the screen. If you just grab the part of the screen with the hash in it and squeeze whatever water you can out, it's easier to collect cuz it chunks up. I use a spray bottle to hit the screen with, so the leftover heads can make their way to the center.

You can also just layer the bags, and have someone hold them as you pour, without attaching them to the bucket.

I usually just put all the bags in the bucket with the 220 first and the smallest last. Stir and agitate as needed. Remove 220 bag and drain. Pull each bag one at a time and scrape the hash off. I turn the bag inside out and use a dinner plate to stretch the screen to scrape the hash. I use a large spoon to scrape so as not to tear the bag

And, DEFINITELY do 3 or more runs. I generally get MORE the second run than I do the first. Use fresh water and ice each time. I just did 4 ounces and got 14 grams of primo (mostly) full melt. The 12 pieces with the shiny stuff is the water hash. The little pieces along the bottom are experiments in dry sift, mostly.

You sure about that the smallest bag should go on first increasing so the largest micron ,usually 220 is the last bag you put the material in

I've never used more than one bucket except ones nice to put used bags so they dont drip every where .I can see needing multiple buckets if your running alot. I'm usually doing small personal runs as wanted

I did it like that before tho, but it gave me less room in the bucket to work with.

if the bags are going inside the bucket, yes. 25 micron first.. then the others layered with numbers going up.

Quite possibly so. It was nothing but an option offered. What goes in is what comes out as far as quality even in the 73 gold

Why is it garbage?
You often use authentic bubble bags to dry sift if you don't have a screen on a frame.
Should be the same thing
If you want a cleaner product, you can shake for a short period of time in the 160 micron, or you can buy finer mesh bags, and work your product up like in the traditional water method

I watched a video where you just freeze your trim, put into the bag or on a table, agitate by hand, and voila.
I just bags to try it.
Then I want to squish it.

Exactly, it must be the water that increases the potency.....

I was going to try dry ice but someone brought up how it just freezes everything and cause the plant material to break down.

like the people at children’s meuseums use to do with dry ice, they put something in it and then drop it and it shatters, same principle I guess
