can i use car headlights or flashlight bulbs instead of Hps or cfl

can i use a lot of flashlight bulbs like the ones that put out 1 million candles or car headlights i need a low watt power could i use compact florsencts that are 20 watts

can i use a 90 watt cfl or two 50 watt cfls this is the wattage the bulbs use and Car headlights wont work or high power spotlight bulbs?

incandescents dont work for growing.

a TRUE 90w CFL would be good or 2 50W, as long as thats the TRUE wattage and not the equivalent wattage

what would be the best light set up for a closet grow of six to ten plants i'd preffer cfl's is 23 watt 1600 lumens good for anything also i was thinking of a 200 watt max setup would that be good

I have 12 plants under a 400W HPS Light, and I want to put more light on them...........

I think you'll be greatly disappointed if you go half assed at it.

i think u should do a a MH or MV 400watts and u can use the hps for blooms or run a low 200 220 watts that are in the blue with your Hps how much would running a 400 watt for 30 days at 24 hours up my bill?

Cfls work, BUT..go for 46w cfls..you can get plant growth from cfl..but the bottom line is ..MORE LIGHT, MORE, STRONGER POT....try T5's they are better than cfls, but not as good as MH & HPS

I would stick with the headlights as long as they are GM made. I would use the flashlights as side lights, you should get a pound per plant with that setup.
