PH up = sodium carbonate?

topic. go.

its used for pools, so if it can't hurt us will it hurt my plants ?

Give it a go ... Difference between us and plants we dont drink water with sodium carbonate in it if we did i wouldnt say it would be nice so i would recomend getting some ph up like garden lime

IDK to be honest, but anything with sodium in the make up ...............

Do you have any silica supplement, like Pro Tekt from Dyna Gro? Not only is it good for your plant, it is very alkaline and can also be used as a pH UP.

sodium bicarbonate + h20= carbonic acid (h2c03)+ OH- and Na+ ions. carbonic acid decomposes readily into co2 and water. its safe to use imo as long as u let it sit a bit, sodium ions might casue a problem but i doubt.

no i don't have any dyna gro products but i'm looking into switching my nutes very soon.

and I will let my nutes sit for a couple days like you said dam612, before i use them on my plants.

I really need to get 'real' ph up but i live in bumfuck
