I have my tent in a closet that connects to my bathroom. the humidity levels are usually around 45-49%. It can go higher sometimes if it gets cold out. Highest it has gotten to is about 60%. the plant is about 30days into flowering. I saw this closet dehumidifier at walmart and wonder is it safe to use in the grow tent?

I would get your rh down to 40% our a little less. I learned the hard way and lost to bud mold.

yeah that's what i'm trying to avoid. Thinking of buying some of these and just placing them in the bathroom maybe that would help. Was thinking of placing one in the grow tent since its fragrance free i dont think it will effect the plant. But just want to be sure.

I have no idea how effective those are. Try them, but be ready to get a real dehumidifier if they don't work. Good luck.

Although I agree that it is better to keep RH below 50%, my indoor and outdoor grows routinely see higher numbers. It is a problem outside with bud rot but as long as I keep good airflow inside it has been OK.

checked on the levels yesterday and they were around 40-45% so i think i will be ok. I added a second fan just to make sure there is enough circulation. Thanks for the advice guys. Its my first grow, scared of getting bud rot:bigjoint:

humidity goes up in my tent when its cold out because my central air dont run much when its cold out. so im guessing thats why it goes up when its cold. It did bring down my humidity levels by about 5%. Im gonna move it into my tent hopefully that helps a little more. But as of now the humidity levels are around 38%-45%.
