can i veg with 16hrs light???

hi as above can i veg for 16hrs im using a 400w mh light manythanks

You can any where from 16-20 hours, I would not go below 16 personally.

Of course you can... Like buddy said, nothing under 16 hours of light. My personal preference is 18/6 than one week away from flower I do 16/8 than go 12/12

as long as its more than 12 hours. According to a few studies 16 hours actually gives you the best root growth. not sure if it's true but, I've seen ppl have great success with 16/8, 18/6, 20/4, 24/0. So no one can say 100% their method is BEST, but i woulnt go less than 14 hours personally, 16 will save you some $

i use 24/0 and sumtime 18/6 but can i ask why you would want to drop to 16/8, is it just to save on electricity?

I would imagine that there's some strains that would flower at 16/8, but I'm not positive. IDK, but I seem to remember reading about members having that problem before, but i could've been stoned so who knows.LOL
