Hi,

3x3x6 tent, in a 12x12x7 basement room.
Using a 4" Mountain air 195cfm Carbon filter, vortex vtx400 171 cfm fan.

Am I able to vent into the basement room using this filter and have no smell?

its cool in the basement and thought it would keep it a little warmer in the room. with the LED and Fan friction

Absolutely, my brother had a big tent with 10 plants in the basement, zero smell with the charcoal filter. What's your filter fan setup/routing like? He had his so the tent was under negative pressure, so the filter was actually outside the tent and the heat/exhaust/smell was being blown out through the filter. I think he did this for space reasons, as I know typically the filter is mounted inside the tent and air is drawn through it, instead of pushed out of it.

I would set it up --- inside tent --- mountain air 4" 195 --- vortex 171 --- to outside the tent with passive intake with a secret jardin 3x3x6

Its controllable.

You must understand that some pot is horrible in flower. Stay away from cheese, skunk, indica heavy. They tend to be foul smelling.

Sativa's will be more fruity. I've had some smell like caramel and coffee.

When it comes time to chop and trim you will need to build a make shift air lock, like a tent connected to the door of your tent to work in or you will need a second scrubber in the room outside the tent.

Mountain air makes just about the best filter on the market.

Good luck.

I run from my tent through a hallway and in to another room into my filter. Zero smell. Alot of heat.
New to indoor. Just know that my outdoor ladies STINK! Having a hard time getting over my nerves that this is possible indoors with a simple carbon filter. Thanks

Good advice. Thanks. May have to build a conduit tube plastic airlock room for trimming. Or trim pail it up to my attic for trimming and back down to the tent for drying.

Be prepared. That outdoor smell will be 100x worse indoors. One filter is not really enough. Smell will get out every time you open the tent. It should stay in the room and be scrubbed in a few minutes if you can lay a towel under the door.

Setup right you and anyone else will never even know they are there. Before my bro setup the filter/fan the house was getting pretty dank! After setup was done. Zero smell.
