Can jarred bud last 4 months stored?

Curious if buds will stay fine and potent for a personal daily use for upto 4 months? I plan on curing my first grow which is in process at the moment in simple glass mason jars, I can store them in the cellar were it is quite cold and dark. But will they stay nice and smokeable for the 4 months until another grow is ready for harvest?

Any tips or tricks?

Pretty sure that's the point of curing it before you store it in jars. To stabilize it as well as bring out the flavor.

I have jarred buds that over 3 years old

Thats very nice to hear I was a little worried it may tarnish or turn brown over time being in the jars, not that I expect to have any for more than 6 months at the most

they do turn brown but not in 6 months
