Hello I just wanted to know if my spouse can own a gun in the same premises that I grow my mmj in Colorado? We live together please any help is appreciated.
I couldn't agree with you more my man, but at the same time, if you want something for protection, it's safer to think along the lines of a machete, cattle prod, crossbow/bow. All equally as effective, but won't land you jail time for a completely legal grow. They take growing and firearms on the same premises very seriously. It will more than likely be a federal case even if it's a legal grow, if they find firearms on the property w/ the grow.Honestly, who cares?
The only way they would know you have a gun is if there was an incident where you had to use it to defend your family or your home. And in that case, who gives a fuck if you were "allowed" to have it? You did have it and you used it to defend your life, your home, or your wife. Unless you have a lot of incidents at your house where the cops are constantly called because of domestic disputes or whatever, then nobody would ever know what's in your home.
Why ask for permission from a bunch of busy body parasite politicians? "Hey guys, can I please have a gun and my grow?".
Fuck that, I'm going to have both. And if someone breaks into my home I'll deal with the cops and the laws after I kill the intruder. First and foremost I'm going to protect my things and my family, what the laws and cops have to say about it is nothing but an afterthought.
Crossbows... They even make (sort of) semi-auto crossbows now.. Just as good as a gun, and it won't end up getting you 5-10 in prison... Guns and growing don't mix, it's not worth jail time for something that would of otherwise been completely legal. What will your family do if you end up spending time in jail due to owning a firearm and being a grower? Gotta think about the family in all aspects.. Good you are looking out for your family. It sucks the way all that is.. Get some big dogs dude. Get 2-3 of the right breed of dog then you don't even need a weapon. Caucasian shepherds -- I've talked to several breaders with experience who say 2-3 armed men would have a hard time getting past just one of these dogs. I have 5 of these and one boarder collie. The smallest Caucasian shepherd I own is 170, most sit at 180-190. Im not at all worried about intruders and will have no legal repercussions since I am within plant count and have no firearms on the property.I would rather the cops make my life a living hell then my family and me doa.there are lots of crazy people in this world and if they break in on me I will do WHAT EVER it take,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,ky
agreed. Fido is the first one to be ventilated by 7.62I'm sorry but dogs and crossbows are no match for semi auto pistols(or worse) with anti personnel(or worse) rounds.
I'm sorry but I have to disagree with you. With a pit bull/Rottweiler id agree, but I had a buddy who had a Caucasian shepherd get shot 4 times with a .45 and still rip the intruders throat out before the dog died. You would need quite a few Guys with semi-autos to take down just one of those dogs. 180+ pounds dogs and known to regularly get over 200 pounds. They also have the highest pain tolerance of any breed of dog out there + a stronger bite psi than that of a lion when full grownI'm sorry but dogs and crossbows are no match for semi auto pistols(or worse) with anti personnel(or worse) rounds.
