Can someone confirm that these bulbs won't burn my house down?

Can you show me a link to that 150 watt bulb putting out 40,000 lumens because my 400 only puts out 50,000?

that was an error I was hoping no one would notice... I get my 150 and my 400 watter mixed up sometimes

Well your 400 should be putting out more than 40k.

40k is what the box says.

Also I want to ask you guys a really noob question,

How does a digital ballast work? Is there a switch on it that says "HPS / MH"?

If i get a digital ballast, 2 bulbs, and a reflector, what am i supposed to connect the bulbs to exactly? Is there already a socket for all types of bulb on the reflector?

Why does it say "HPS" at the end of the name of this reflector?

used the ultra sun, works great. the reflector is sun system (USA made) great quality. The lumatek should plug into a normal receptacle. Should only use about 2 amps. less than some toasters.

The lumatek will work on both bulbs HPS and MH automatically. The bulb screws onto the socket on the reflector.
