well put simplysmoke, a mixture of the 2 or 3 light temps will get you closer to natural sun light. I have 4 different temps, 5000K x 4, 6000K x 2, 6500K x 4, 2700K x 2. I just started a little over a week ago. I didn't get all those different ones for any particular reason, wanted to see if i could notice a difference with different manufactures and just decided to use what I bought instead of buying all new again. I have a journal called "3rd go around indoor soil with CFL's" there is a pic of my light if anyone wants to check it out.
