do you see any silvery white trails around the plant or soil?
it looks to me like the natural growth of a stem

My first grow im more paranoid than a rich crack fiend ina room full of broke friends haha im sure u can get it.. im lookin for perfect symmetry and stuff but i figured.. since no i have not seen any bugs..my only worry was the nutes i added didnt have cal or mag in em.. i had to whip up some homemade concoction for the moment lol .. its really only thing i noticed off at all.. otherwise.. if anything its outgrowing the other 3 almost double.. thought maybe it was skin splitting from speedgrowing.. its growing a new set of leaves a day right now

Hey I’m on my first time grow as well and when I noticed this I got paranoid too but a friend who’s grown multiple times said this is just the trunk forming a type of bark like skin to help strengthen and thicken the trunk!

you can play them heavy metal, they love AC/DC, for some reason heavy metasll works better then bob marley or clasicalmusic, they did a test on plants at some university, ill see if i can find the info for you

oops, maybe another test from a differant place, but heres some results Classical music made plants grow better, bushier, and greener, with healthier stems. Jazz music also accelerated growth and made plants fuller. Heavy metal music, together with new age and Celtic tunes increase both plant mass AND fruit taste. Country and western music for plants had no effects on development.

GARDENING guru Chris Beardshaw has recommended a new technique for bigger blooms – blast your plants with heavy metal music. The broadcaster reveals to Radio 4 listeners today that a constant diet of Black Sabbath worked wonders on a greenhouse full of plants

Playing music for your plants may seem like a strange thing to do, but research suggests that any sound, including music, helps boost plant growth. Vibrations from sound waves seem to stimulate growth factors

Def normal. Majority of new growers over analyze and stress themselves out. It’s normal lol. Most of us did the same when we started.

After a couple grows you will not worry things like this because you will have seen it a few times already. Can’t put a price tag on experience.

Best of luck, you got this
