Those bottom tow leaves are turning yellow and dying it seems like they're dying. plant is 30 days old, is this a nitrogen deficiency? I've givin nutes at half strength with a ratio of 12-4-8. also, I'm ready to start the flowering stage. I just turned the light off to start its 12-12 light cycle, should I water while the light is off? just like I would if it was on? let me know what you would do.

Id water in the morning. Thats the best. Idk how good the pot is that you have it in either. Looks like it is catching the runoff. It may be a case of nutrient burn but im not sure, could be hungry too. How many times have you fed? What soil are you useing?

i think its nitro toxicity/nute burn. your soil still has time released fertilizer in it it looks like. so you could be over feeding

I have fed 4 small doses, not sure wgate the soil is honestly, & is Runoff bad? what exactly is that? I fed the plant kind of early in veging stage. should I clip the bottom who leaves that are turned ng light brown? will they affect the rest of the plant?

Could be nute burn. Yes the affected leaves look dead, cuttem off. No they will not affect the rest of the plant, if you have nute burn you will start to see that look spreading through the rest of the plant. Run off is good, we aim for ten percent runoff. This leaches fertilizer from the rootzone so it doesnt build up. Build up is bad so runoff is good. Also, fertilizer doesnt grow plants, dirt does. Lots of people do this at first, feed like crazy. Simce you dont know what your dirt is id guess some low quality potting soil. Which is good because you wont have to fertilize much. When you water wait until the container is light in your hand and when you puch your finger into it you can tell its dry, you want a wet dry cycle not wet all the time, ever.

Your welcome. Read son, theres tons of files on riu to read through in newbie central, on anything you want to read about, pots, lights, watering, feeding. Those are some good ones to start with. Stay away from led lights and lollypoping. And have fun. Good luck.
